Excellent as usual
No matter how many times we say we will try something else we always end up at Sobar. The steak was cooked to perfection and the secret mushroom sauce is just the best.

Excellent service

Good environment, good food, great service.
We went here for Valentine's Day dinner last night with our 2 boys. We were seated quickly and the front of house staff were accommodating and friendly. The experience overall was good, but I was glad we had half price food vouchers, as I wouldn't have been happy paying full price for some of the meals we received. For a starter I ordered the prawn cocktail. The prawns smelt fresh but were slimy and inedible. For mains, my husband and I both ordered the surf & turf royale ($45ea). Unfortunately the steak either wasn't good quality, or wasn't cooked well (the prawns on top were great, as was the mushroom sauce). My husband ordered a long island iced tea ($26) which tasted like watered-down coke. The highlight of our meal was definitely the wait staff. After the 50% food discount, our bill came to about $160 for 2 adults and 2 children. Despite giving only 3 stars, I would try this place again.

Bland
Staff member was friendly. The food was a little bland and there was no salt on the table, we got some chicken wings that were so dry it was like they had been cooked multiple times.

Another amazing meal
As always Sobar is our favourite anniversary go to. The steak meals are amazing, always fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection and the staff always so friendly Just bear in mind if you are an early booking with book me they want to see the whole voucher ( this time at least 3 people wanted to see it) with the reference number and booking number .
